Highlights:  Three Stark pitchers combined on a one-hitter, with Paolicelli earning the win on the mound, and the Generals scored 13 runs in the sixth inning to end Wednesday’s season opener an inning early. Stark’s bats combined for 15 hits.

Highlights:  The Hawks won a season-opening 10-team meet hosted by Kearsarge on Wednesday. Hopkinton won with 115 points, followed by Mascoma (82), Proctor Academy (66), Inter-Lakes (64), Hillsboro-Deering (48) and Kearsarge (44) in the top six.

Highlights:  The Hawks won a nine-team meet at Kearsarge on Wednesday to open the season. The Cougars scored 157 points to claim the victory, with Hopkinton (126), Inter-Lakes (56) and Kimball Union Academy (43) rounding out the top four teams. Hillsboro-Deering competed, but did not score.
