Highlights:  The Hawks won a nine-team meet at Kearsarge on Wednesday to open the season. The Cougars scored 157 points to claim the victory, with Hopkinton (126), Inter-Lakes (56) and Kimball Union Academy (43) rounding out the top four teams. Hillsboro-Deering competed, but did not score.
